Eleanor Pair Mills

Eleanor P. Mills, 89 years old, passed away peacefully in her home on January 13, 2019. A memorial graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Good Hope United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. Ellie is survived by her loving husband, George William Mills of Norfolk; and two children, Susan M. Leedes (John) and John Kent Mills (Kathy); as well as five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Saunders; and brother, Richard Pair. Ellie loved children and teaching. She taught in Arlington, Virginia; Berkeley, California; Franklin, Virginia; Courtland, Virginia; Franklin, West Virginia; Bogalusa, Louisiana; Zachary, Louisiana; Monticello, Mississippi; Suffolk, Virginia; Windsor, Virginia; Piedmont, West Virginia; Ivor, Virginia; Key Stone Heights, Florida; and Covington, Virginia. She taught and retired from teaching from Indian Lakes Elementary School, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
