Ellen Griffis Borje, 87, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on January 4, 2015 in Virginia Beach, Va. Ellen was the widow of John J. Borje. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara Douglas(Peter), Virginia Beach,Va.,Donald Borje(Devon), Newport Beach, Ca, David Borje, Jacksonville and Diane Sumler(Douglas), Waynesville, N.C. Ellen has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Mass to celebrate her life will be held on January 30th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
