Geraldine M. Davis, 82, passed away peacefully January 14, 2011.
Mrs. Davis was born February 26, 1928 to the late Dixie and Elizabeth Mister in Capeville, VA. She was a Registered Nurse at Norfolk General for over 20 years. Geraldine was longtime member of Community United Methodist Church. She loved being outdoors and watching birds. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Larry Davis, Jr. and a nephew, Dick Mapp and wife Sue.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Community United Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
