Mr. Kingery was born in Sharon, West Virginia to the late Frank and Madge Kingery. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-eight years Genell Patterson Kingery and four brothers Kenneth, Bruce, William and Melvin Kingery and three sisters Geraldine, Gynith and Iva Mae.
Mr. Kingery retired as a Gunnery Sergeant, 0369 Infantry Unit Leader, with the United States Marine Corps after twenty-four years. He served two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea and was a two time recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. He also retired from Civil Service.
Mr. Kingery was a passionate woodworker and gardner who loved to fish and spend time with family.
Survivors include his daughter Deborah Jean Henslee, his son Dana Leon Mark Raciborski; six grandchildren William Lee Henslee II (Erin), Charles Austin Henslee, Andrew John Henslee (Kristina) and Thomas Michael Henslee, Mark Raciborski, Jr., and Tracy Raciborski; great grandchildren Liam, Lizzy and Rylee Henslee.
Services will be private with the local immediate family per Mr. Kingery's request.
