Ira Beauregard White, IV, 70 passed away peacefully in Naples, Florida.
Mr. White was a Norfolk native and resided in the Tidewater area most of his life. He retired as a sound engineer and lifelong musician. His passions included serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and family. He shared his testimony through his music in praise and worship and as a sound engineer.
Survivors include a daughter Rebecca Smith and husband Michael; a son Joel White and wife Crissy; eight grandchildren, Xavier, Thomas, Alexandria, Taylor, Areyona, Joel, Brooke and Alli; a sister Marcia Wickencamp and husband Richard, Sr.; a half brother Eddie Brown and wife Sue and half sister Pamela Bell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 11:00a.m. officiated by Michael Smith at Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.
