James Irvin Peacock

James Irvin Peacock, 75, passed away at his home on March 19, 2020.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Mr. Peacock resided in Virginia Beach since 1978. He was a retired government contractor and retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer.
Survivors include his loving wife Valerie Peacock, son Kenneth (Kim) Peacock, daughter Karen (Jim) DeMoss, and son Michael (Tina) Peacock. Grandchildren Ashley, Matthew, and Nicholas DeMoss; Amanda and Trevor Peacock; Allison Peacock. His loving family in Scotland includes his sister-in-law Muriel Clark and niece Gillian Flockhart, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Also survived by his sisters Delores and Linda, and brother David. He will be missed by all including his beloved dogs, Cooper, Bella, and Rosie.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 10:00a.m. at A.G. Horton Jr. Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia by Chaplain Chris Fosbach.
