Virginia Beach - Jeanne Paulette Marie Mitchell passed away Oct. 9, 2014. She was born on June 19, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late Paul and Lavinia Capdevielle. Growing up in New Orleans, Jeanne was fluent in French and was the Mardi Gras Queen in 1964. Jeanne had a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and a Master's degree in Geology. She loved boating and was a member of the C-Brats Club. Jeanne enjoyed going to the movies and she was also a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. Jeanne was a very loving and devoted wife.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Neal Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Donald Mitchell.
