I remember trips John and I took to beaches. He always said he felt like a fish out of water otherwise. John would swim at night in the ocean. I was scared. I slept. The next morning he’d meet me on the beach where we’d share a blt and coffee. I’ll never forget so many things john taught me including the gardens I grow every year and the meals I prepare. I still listen to the Eagles.  I still think of John.
