Joseph Lance Conner

Mr. Conner was a native of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and a current resident of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents Buford and Esther Skinner Conner and his beloved wife Peggy Segura Conner and a daughter in law, Lydia Conner and a sister, Palma Miller.

Mr. Conner retired from the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. Following his Naval service he worked for Bell Textron, L3 Systems, Fairbanks Morris and Raytheon. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association #99.

Survivors include a son Michael Lance Conner, a daughter Katrina Lea Raulerson and her husband Matt; 2 grandchildren, Samatha Lande and husband Bryan, Austin Majette and wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Ian, Thomas, Lance, Reagan and Hudson; great great grandchildren, Livelee, Emilynn, Harper, Axel and Abel; a sister Shirley Frazier and husband Tom.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Friday, July 17, 11:00 am at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA.
