Jovita Arufo Velez

Jovita Arufo Velez, 92, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Mario Arufo and Benedicta Cebuano Arufo and her husband Cecilio C. Velez, Sr. and a son Eriberto Velez. Survivors include eight children, Maria Sosa and husband Marco, Ana Easley and husband Pat, Sonny Velez and wife Larcy, Susan Nakanishi and husband Yoshio, Jocelyn Sasaki and husband Osamu, Rommel Velez and wife Soy, Remus Velez and wife Irene and Jessica Lynch and husband Sean; 3 sisters, Clemencia Alesna, Natalia Arufo and Clarita Arufo; 28 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, 4:00p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2741 Greendale Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23518 by Bishop Aron Boney.
