Kenneth George Seavey

Kenneth George Seavey, 73, passed away on January 17, 2020. He was born in Portland Maine, to the late Clayton and Vesta Seavey. He served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. Upon discharging from the military, he became a Master Police Officer; a profession he dedicated his life to for 25 years, and eventually retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, boating, and traveling. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 26 years, Margery A. Seavey. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ken Seavey (Kristin Thomas) of Chesapeake and Melissa Seavey of Virginia Beach; sister Roberta Kruz ; and grandson Greyson Seavey. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 6PM, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
