I think this is my cousins' son whom I haven't been in contact for years. I have been looking for you,I feel in my heart this is you and to have this type of connection is difficult.I haven't seen you since high school and thats over 20+ years. Kielin is the name of your first son name and you have family in Mobile,Va,NC... 

One thing for sure is that I have always known to respsect Men of Service and to have gone on to be with God as a marine,Be Proud.

To the family and friends of Kielin Dunn. I did not know Kielan, but today I learned a little about him. In Providence, RI Operation Stand Down Rhode Island presents a memorial for all soldiers killed in the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars. Its called Boots On The Ground. Each soldier is commemorated with a boot, an American flag and a brief personal history. Today, I stopped at Kielan's memorial, read his story, said a quick prayer for your comfort and honored hm a with a moment of silence. There's nothing a stranger can do other than to say that the sacrifice made by Kielan and those whom he loved is not forgotten - today or any day.

To Terry and Master Chief Campbell, greetings from an old friend. I'm sorry to here about the lost of your son who made the ultimate sacrifice.   I too have a son serving in the US MC. I know the both of you are strong people. I want you to that you son's sacrifice was not in vain. Thank you both for your service and may God continue to bless you. Kielin, I miss our late night fb chats and you picking at me for being more moto than you. You and your memory has changed my life. Every time I want to give up, I think of you and push through. Kielin was a good friend who died doing what he loved. When I first came in contact with him shortly after we graduated I told him I was worried about him being a marine he told me not to worry cause he loved what he did. 
I found out about his death and was crushed but today I am very proud to call him my hero and friend.

I just finished watching the video tribute celebrating Kielins life and I thank you for sharing him with us.  As I sit here with tears streaming down my face I want so badly to write the words that will bring you some solace to help in someway to bring some healing to your family but I don't know what else to say other than Thank You.  Thank You for raising a boy who became a young man that believed in something so much that he was willing to give his all for that belief.  Thank You for raising a son that was willing to protect me and give me the freedom I so enjoy.  I don' know why some are chosen and others not to give the ultimate sacrifice.  I do believe those who are chosen are also given the responsibility to protect and guide a brother he leaves behind.  KIielin Lcpl Justin S. Moreau USMC could have no better guardian angel than you. I am sorry for your loss of your Marine.  I am the mom of 2 sons and 3 friends who are all currently in SOI training at Camp Geiger.  I can only imagine the emotions you are feeling right now. My condolences to the Dunn Family.  I know there are no words that can take away even the smallest bit of hurt, but I want the Family to know that they are in my thoughts and prayers!  I lost my beloved Mother last year (03/08/09) and my beloved Father 3 years ago (04/17/07) and I miss them so much!!  A day does not go by in which I don't think about them in some way.  Losing a parent or a son & brother is not easy and you never stop missing them but over time you come to cope better.  I will forevermore miss my parents and you will forevermore miss your son and brother.  At some point in the future, we do not know when, we will all be reunited with our loved ones and then no one will feel hurt or pain!

I never had the pleasure of meeting Lance Corporal Dunn & happened on his Obituary while looking for another one.  I just wanted to send condolences to his Family.

No one can know the agony you feel right now in the loss of your loved one, I know because I've been there. I also lost my Marine son just over 3 months ago. I can only say just to trust in God and allow the Marine community to help you in anyway you need. The Marines are very protective of their own and you are now one of them.
