Mr. Malbone was born February 16, 1931 in Princess Anne County. He was preceded in death by his parents Alva and Elva Malbone and brother Horace B. Malbone.
Mr. Malbone was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and retired as a Post Master from the U.S. Postal Service. He was the former owner of Busy Bee Hauling & Lawn Service. He was a Mason with Princess Anne Lodge 25, Khedive Temple and Worshipful Master in 1984 and the Ruitan.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara G. Malbone, a sister Alyce Faye Hughes and husband George (FL); four children Deborah Gattenby and husband Joe (KS), Cynthia Heard and husband JD (NC), Terry W. Gee and wife Pattie (VA) and Sherry G. Garrett (FL); 12 grandchildren and spouses, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
