Virginia Beach, VA – Louis R. Dascoulias, 59, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2010. He was born in New Hampshire on May 22, 1950 to the late George and Barbara Dascoulias. Louis served his country in the U.S. Navy during the time of the Vietnam War. He was a software engineer and a member of the Wave Church. Louis was a devout Christian and a lover of music; he was a composer and played the guitar.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Zoe McIlwain and her husband Bob of MA; 2 brothers, Paul Dascoulias of FL and George Dascoulias; and a grandson, Connor McIlwain.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, April 9, 2010, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. Burial will follow in A. G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 8th from 6-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to NLMI Misson.
