Marie Hwang Campbell of Virginia Beach, VA passed away on July 22, 2026. Dementia and injuries from a fall with subsequent complications resulted in her decline and eventual death.

Marie was born in Chia-Yi Taiwan. She immigrated to the United States in 1973 and became a US citizen in 1977.

Marie is survived by husband, Randy P. Campbel; daughter, Michelle Campbell Zurek; son-in-law, Stephen Earl Zurek; and grandson, Jaxson Zurek, all of Virginia Beach.

Additional survivors include members of Hwang and Fang families on the West Coast and in Taiwan.

A gathering of family and friends will be private.
