Martha “Marty” Moyer Fairchild, 72, passed away at her residence in Virginia Beach on Tuesday. She was a lifelong resident in Norfolk. She is predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Reva Moyer along with her husband, Roger Fairchild. Marty worked for Greyhound and the Norfolk Public Education as a Bus Supervisor. She enjoyed Nascar races and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Bernie and Tracy and his wife, Denise; grandchildren, Christa and Shawn; great grandchildren, Marrisa and Riley; siblings, Blanche Hadley and Yvonne Barocela.
A visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Smith and Williams Kempsville Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.smithwilliamskempsville.com
