Melissa Baxley Paul “Missy” 38, passed away on June 1, 2021. She was born on May 20, 1983 in Virginia Beach, VA. She was raised by her father John Paul Baxley and stepmother the late Patricia Baxley along with her mother Joyce Ann Johnson and stepfather Ralph Johnson. Along with her parents, Missy’s beautiful children Priscilla Paul, Brooklyn Paul and Dylan Peed, her brothers & sisters along with many other family members and friends are left to cherish her memory.
Missy was a dedicated Mother first and foremost. She had a vivacious personality & always made people around her laugh. Her smile was infectious and will be forever etched in our hearts.
She was the type of person to bring light to every situation, her laugh was contagious. She was the life of the party and wasn't afraid to have fun. Missy was never one to sugarcoat anything and always told her loved ones what they needed to hear, even if it wasn't what they wanted to hear, as she would say she "kept it real." She was never afraid to stand up for her loved ones and what she believed in. Her friends were her family, her kids were her world and everything she did was for them. Her spirit and memory will forever live on through the many that loved and knew her. She was unforgettable and impacted every person she crossed paths with. She was the backbone for so many and a courageous, happy soul. This world will forever be a little less bright without her.
