
Norma Louise Nagle was born 11 April 1933 in Chicago, IL to Dell and William Nathanson. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University, and worked as an emergency room nurse for 20 years, until her retirement.
Norma married her husband of 62 years, Carl J Nagle, a 1st LT in the 101st Army Airborne in 1951, and was a devoted army wife and mother to four beautiful daughters. During the next quarter century, she and her husband were stationed all over the world until his retirement, where they settled in the Virginia Beach area.
Not wanting to sit still in retirement, she served as a youth sport coach, and kept active with skiing, boating. She was an amazing woman, and has left behind a loving husband, Carl, four daughters, Carla Givin, Leigh Blow, Robin Damweber, Amie Hickey, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 pm, located at 717 Tucson Rd, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462.
