My heart broke when I got the news of pats passing and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family. I worked with Pat and always felt a closeness since we both had come from greenbrier county in West Virginia. She was such a wonderful lady, friend, wife , mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and co-worker. She will be missed by many. Until we meet again my friend 🙏

I got to know Aunt Pat and Uncle Ray very late in my life. Aunt Pat was the sweetest person I could hope to know. She was my moms best friend in youth in Rainelle and even though we lost touch over the years, when we reconnected I felt like time had passed away. I’m grateful for the little time I had with her and she will be greatly missed. I’m sure her and my mom are busy catching up right now 💕

Pat Connard was the wife of Ray. Ray was a cousin to my wife, Naomi Gail Connard Hudnall. Ray, I understand how difficult is was on you to see your wife go to Glory. Leukemia killed my little Gail on January 12, this year. As a friend of Pat's husband, Ray, I feel his loss. Both Pat and Ray were wonderful friends while we lived in Virginia Beach. Gail spoke about Pat often, telling me she wished once again to visit her Va Beach Cousins. Pat invited us to her house for a meal. An excellent cook she was! So much has taken place since we closed our book store and left Norfolk in 1983. My three daughters, Melanie, Penni and Rebecca expressed their condolences upon learning of Pat's passing. They pray Pat and Ray's children will remain strong and proud. The Connard family's legacy will travel on and I feel there is a possibility that Gail will welcome Pat into Heaven. God Bless Pat's Soul!
