Patricia was a selfless woman of great kindness, patience, and love—qualities that defined her life and the way she cared for those around her. She was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, where she met the love of her life, Edmund. Together, they shared a life of devotion and adventure, traveling during Edmund’s distinguished career in the United States Navy.
Patricia and Edmund later settled in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where they purchased a home and raised their two children. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, finding her greatest joy in her family and home. Her warmth, quiet strength, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her brother, Richard Hall, her son, Ken Nelson and his wife, Tina Nelson; her daughter, Carol Fuentes; her grandchildren, Danielle Fuentes, Joelle Fuentes, Kyle Fuentes, and Nick Nelson; her great-grandchildren, Justin, Harlow, Rue, and Beatrix; and her great-great-grandchildren, Atreus and Ezra, along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held at Princess Anne Memorial Park, located at 1110 North Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23454. The service is scheduled for January 16, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
