Pauline “Polly” Compton, 86, passed away on August 24, 2011. She was born in Princess Anne County on March 9, 1925. She was a remarkable women with a kind and caring heart. She was truly loved and adored by everyone who came in contact with her.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Compton Jr. and a daughter Joan Bright.
Survivors include four children, Cheri Scott, Ralph Compton, W.T. Compton and Candy Compton, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 31 at 10:00 am at Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4080 Charity Neck Road Va. Beach, Va. Friends may offer condolences at www.smithandwilliamskempsville.com.
