Peggy Sage Carr

Peggy dedicated many years of her life to the City of Virginia Beach Courthouse, where she worked diligently in Food Service. She was known for her warm smile and kind heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In her personal life, Peggy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a passion for shopping and a keen eye for jewelry, which she wore with grace and elegance. Her love for her dogs was unparalleled, and they brought her endless companionship and happiness. Peggy enjoyed watching funny movies that made her laugh, and she cherished going to lunch with friends and family. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved children and decorating her home, always creating a welcoming and loving environment.

Peggy was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 25 years, Gary Eugene Carr; her sisters, Virginia and Frankie; and her nephew, Dennis.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Emma J. Williams; her son, Wayne Williams; daughter-in-law Catherine Christiansen; her son-in-law, Michael Barowich; and her grandson, Andrew Meechan. They remember her as a caring mother with a great sense of humor.

Services for Peggy will be private, as per the family's wishes.

Her family is comforted by the fact that Peggy lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the people she loved and who loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
