Randy was born in Norfolk, Virginia and was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Helen Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Bryant, and his two beloved labs Dauber and Harley.
Prior to retiring, Randy was a Mechanic and Service Manager for over 40 years; he dedicated most of his career to being employed by Professional Heating & Cooling & Daubers. Additionally, Randy enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife and friends, traveling, and spent many summers at the campground. He was a lifelong member of Temple Baptist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include a son Randel Lynn Bryant, Jr. and spouse Vivian; two grandchildren Noah Randel and Ava Marie; his sister Priscilla and her husband Joe LeMoine; two brothers Patrick Bryant and Wilbur Bryant, Jr., and many nieces and nephews he dearly loved. Randy is also survived by his furry companion, Billie the Beagle.
Besides his family being his passion, Randy absolutely loved to cook, passing this talent and enthusiasm down to his son and grandson. Randy had a great sense of humor, was extremely generous and had an enormous heart. Randy will be remembered for all the love he shared with his family and friends. Randy never met a stranger and was loved by all he friended.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, July 8, at 2:00p.m.
