Rita Kathryn Matte Toby, 75, passed away on March 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents, Leonard J. Matte and Kathleen McCormick Matte; and her sister, Mary Heberlin.
Rita was employed with Dillard’s in the Human Resources Department. She was a member of the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Richard Toby; her sons, Richard Toby, Jr. and his wife Leslie and Christopher Toby and his wife Shannon; her grandchildren, Rebekah, Lorenzo, Kerrigan, Leland and McCoy; and her sister, Carmela Cistola.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church on a date to be determined.
