In his early life, Robert was born in Norfolk, Virginia and later moved to Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Etta Mae Brush and a sister and 2 brothers.
Mr. Brush retired as a Tug Boat Captain for McAllister Towing after more than 30 years of service. His career was marked by dedication and a strong work ethic, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.
Robert was a devoted member of Calvary Temple Church in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was actively involved in his community, demonstrating his commitment to his faith and to those around him.
Survivors include his sons, Robert James "Bobby" Brush, Christopher Edmond Brush and David Brush; 8 grandchildren Robert, Kenneth, Sarah, Allison, Nathan, Natalie and Carson.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:00 am.
