Virginia Beach - Robert Harold Seberle, Sr., 85, passed away on Sept. 24, 2013. He was born on Oct. 13, 1927 in Yonkers, NY to the late John Christopher Seberle and Elizabeth Grant Seberle. Mr. Seberle proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the American Express Company as the vice president of the tax department. Mr. Seberle was a parishioner at St. John’s the Apostle Catholic Church. He lived in the Atlantic Shores Community.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert H. Seberle Jr. and his fiancée Rebecca Mills and Brian Seberle and his wife Lesa; daughter, Tina Reid; sisters, Arlene Marshall and her husband Jack and JoAnne O’Rourke and her husband Bob; and ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Theresa Rooney; daughter, Diane Seberle-Diaz; and brother, John Seberle.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church celebrated by the Rev. Robert Cole.
