Sandra “Sandy” Helen Chandler, 61, passed away in Virginia Beach on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Sandy was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Joseph and Irene Schwarckopf. She was a Title Underwriter with Caplon Law firm. Sandy was a loving wife and is known for her beautiful singing voice. She loved singing gospel music and was a previous member of both Great Bridge Baptist Church and Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church. Sandy loved the beach and was very crafty, she loved flowers and decorating. She is cherished in memory by her husband, Danny; brother, Kevin Schwarckopf; her special kitties, Sadie, Izzy and Parker as well as a host of other significant family members and friends.
There will be a visitation from 5-7pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church in Chesapeake. Burial will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
