Victor Manuel De Leon

Virginia Beach – Victor Manuel De Leon, 56, passed away October 24, 2010. He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on November 17, 1953 to Francisco and Francisca De Leon. Victor proudly served our country in the United States Marines and was wounded while in the service. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Victor enjoyed movies and was quite the movie buff. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco De Leon. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lucrecia De Leon; mother, Francisca De Leon; children, Ramon Polanco, Jacqueline De Leon, Onawa Polanco, Francisco De Leon, Victoria De Leon, Victor De Leon Jr.; brothers, Roosevelt De Leon and wife Berny, Nelson De Leon and wife Lourdes, and Berkis De Leon; and grandchildren, Damien, Darren, Gianni, Daila, Janelie, and Asia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Tim Kuhneman. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
