Wayne Alfred Rosenbaum

Mr. Rosenbaum was born in Damascus, Va., and moved to Norfolk in 1963. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed NASCAR and hunting. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Wayne Rosenbaum, his parents, Charles & Yada Rosenbaum, four brothers, Jimmy, Berman, Johnny and Ralph.

Survivors include four daughters, Melody Rosenbaum Weekly, Sallie Rosenbaum-Conrad, (Bobby); Shannon Rosenbaum Wilson, (Brandon); Mary Rosenbaum Driggers; three brothers, Don, (Suzanne); Charles, Jr., (Eva); David, (Cathy); two sisters, Nell Boyd, (Tommy); Betty Donley, (Mike); a sister-in-law, Linda Rosenbaum, eleven grandchildren, Candace Mianulli, (Domenic); David McNeil, (Cindy); Nic Spruill, Brent Powell, Paige Powell, Austin Wilson, Alexis Wilson, Hailey Dunagan, Kayla Wilson, Caleb Driggers and Gracie Wilson and four great grandchildren, Cameron Mianulli, Chelsey McNeil, Domenic Mianulli, Jr., and David McNeil, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel where a celebration of Mr. Rosenbaum’s life will be held on Sunday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
