William Raymond Lucas

William Raymond Lucas, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Allegheny, PA. to the late Willard and Sarah Runkle Lucas, he is survived by his wife Clara Moran-Lucas; two daughters, Bridget and husband Steve Webb, Cortney Lucas; two sons, Neil Lucas and wife Mary, Scott Terrell and wife Rachel; eleven grandchildren, Sam Rose, Nathan Barb, Angela Schuller, Mykenzie Webb, Jacinda Hawkins, Myles Webb, Jaylin Hawkins, Jadah Hawkins, David Terrell, Devin Terrell and Declan Terrell. Bill retired from the Navy and worked with Moran Tug towing Inc., for another 20 years. A devoted husband and family man, when he was not working, he loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his dogs. Loved by many, he will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday January 5, 2015 at Smith and Williams Kempsville Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow immediately after the service at 1 pm, Park lawn Memorial Park in Hampton with U.S. Navy military honors to be rendered.
