William “POGO” Pogroszewski- 70, of Virginia Beach, born on July 14, 1943 in South Amboy, New Jersey to the late Valentine & Anna Pogroszewski, beloved husband of 46 years to Jo-Ann, passed away unexpectantly on Dec. 9, 2013 at home after a brief illness.
“Pogo” worked more than 40 years at Dominion Virginia Power. Following his retirement, he continued to work for Home Depot.
In addition to his loving wife, left to cherish his memory are his children; Robert William, Billie-Jo, & Tiffany Ann; grandchildren; Tyler, Trent, Taylor, Justin, Joseph, and Jacob; and sisters; Pat, Mary Jane, and Janice.
The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at the same location.
