He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather & friend. He was 75. Born March 12, 1935 in Mexico.
Dad worked all his life from the age of 12 & retired around 65. He was a seamer mechanic supervisor for the canneries. Mom & Dad were married 56 years. They took us everywhere as we were growing up.
He was a conservative person & made sure that Mom & we all had what we needed. He was the type of person to pick up & go at the last minute with our mom. He loved to BBQ & cook, especially if you dropped in unexpectly, he would whip up something in a flash. He always liked to cook & make his "salsa" for us. His specialty was his garden where he would always grow & pick chiles, avocados, persimmons, lemons, radishes, onions etc. You will be missed terribly, The only sibling left on his side of the family is his sister, Rosa Acosta of Laredo, TX.
