In his early days, Red raced hot rods at local tracks. Red had a love of early Ford Broncos, hunting and fishing. Red especially loved spending time at his cabin in Junction Utah, fishing Otter Creek Res. and roaming the high country mountains near his cabin. Red was never without a smile.
One of Red’s favorite hangouts was the Mearle’s Drive In. Many a hunting and fishing trip began at Mearle’s. Red was a long standing member of the Visalia Sportsman Club of Visalia.

His circle of morning coffee buddies in Junction Utah and Visalia CA will have an empty seat, but Red has left lasting memories for all. There won’t be a time that we don’t go to his favorite fishing spot and not expect to see him out in his boat or standing on the river bank with a fishing pole in his hand. Every time we are on the mountain, we will expect to see Red come driving up in his Bronco or come walking out of the trees.
Red was a great Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. Red will be terribly missed by all of us.
Viewing will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, Thursday June 25, from 5:00 to 7:00PM and Friday June 26, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. Graveside service will be 10:00AM at Visalia Cemetery.
