Amanda Kathleen Martinez, 43, daughter of the late Bobby Costales and Kathleen Van Dyk of Visalia, CA, passed away on Tuesday November 13th. She was born in Visalia, where she attended school and participated in dance, band, and basketball.
Amanda is survived by her husband, 4 children, and daughter in law: Richard P. Martinez, Richard A. Martinez Jr, Andrew C. Martinez, Julianne K. Martinez, Brianna M. Martinez, and Michelle Vasquez; one grandchild, Richard A. Martinez III; her siblings, Jerod Costales, Dries Van Dyk, and Sarah Weir.
A firm believer, Amanda always had a strong relationship with God. Her faith and love of her family got her through everything. She lived and loved life and always enjoyed time with her family. A wonderful mother and grandmother, she always reminded all of her family how much they were loved. She always brought a smile to everyone around her and touched many lives with her sense of humor and sarcasm.
She was an amazing woman, a hard worker, a great friend, an excellent cook and the most unselfish person around. On a lighter note, she was a devout YouTube viewer and she loved to shop. Amanda will be remembered for her witty comments, sarcasm, her ability to make anyone laugh, her great love for her family, and her makeup always done to perfection. She will be truly missed.
