

Anthony Ditommaso, 86, of Visalia, California, a cherished husband, father and friend passed away on the morning of July 5, 2014 in Visalia. He dedicated his life to service through his gifts of a kind heart and as a gifted musician. Tony celebrated 57 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Clarice. They lived the majority of their life in Visalia and traveled together throughout the world. He served 20 years in the United States Army, performing in a big band for troops across Europe in the aftermath of World War II. After retiring, Tony was well known for his musical talents and pleased many dancing audiences with his clarinet and saxophone.
Tony is survived by his son, Sid Stovall and his wife, Michele and their children of Corpus Christi, TX; his brother-in-law, Dennis Anderson and his wife, Maria Olivia and their six daughters and eleven grandchildren of Farmersville, CA and Daniele Porter, whom Tony loved as a daughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5 – 7 .m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Memorial Mass services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 8 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Visalia. Inurnment will follow at Visalia District Cemetery in Visalia.
