Arlen Richard Lynn, age 79 of Visalia, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ October 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard William and Norma Elaine; and sister, Beverley Rae Hodgson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane Lynn (Fox); daughter, Rhonda (Buck) Bonilla of Richland, WA; son, Ronald (Jeannette) Lynn of Port Townsend, WA; daughter, Heidi (Dennis) Meyst of Cibolo, TX; brother, Curtis Elmer Lynn of Bullhead City, AZ; grandchildren, Rowan, Evelyn, and Sophia Lynn of Port Townsend, WA, Ellie Bonilla of Abilene, TX, Sam Bonilla of Mt. Vernon, IA, Jordan Meyst of Visalia, CA, and Kalista Meyst of Cibolo, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Arlen was born in Medford, Oregon on February 15, 1942. His family lived in Washington for many years before moving to Corning, CA in 1959. He joined the US Forest Service in 1960. Then graduated from Corning High School in 1961. He joined the California Army National Guard where he served for six months before a medical discharge. Arlen and Jane were married June 25, 1966. They lived in Willows, CA then Redding, CA where they had twins, Ronald and Rhonda in May 1969, and moved to Visalia in September 1969. Their youngest, Heidi, was born in September 1976. Arlen was a truck driver for Lindsay Olive Growers, Vons, Edwards Nursery, and Silver Arrow before retiring in 2000. He was a longtime member of Gateway Church.
Services will be held after the New Year to celebrate his 80th Birthday.
