

Betty Jean (Balakian) Krikorian passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025, at her home in Visalia, California. She was born on February 7, 1931 in Fresno, California. Betty grew up on a raisin farm in Selma, California attending Terry Grammar School and Selma High School, where she played the bells and triangle in the Selma High Marching Band. Betty also played the organ and would play Christmas greetings every year to her family on Christmas morning. Betty graduated high school in 1948 and then worked for the Christian Brothers Winery. She married Harry Krikorian, a local architect in 1954 and settled down in Tulare, California, raising her three sons. She worked as a teller for Bank of America for over 30 years. She was a tireless worker and dedicated her life to family and friends.
Betty is survived by her three sons, Gary (Nancy), Rick (Kathryn), and Dean. She loved her three grandchildren, Hannah (Sam), Gregory, and Julia. She is also survived by her loving brother, Haig Patrick (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years, Harry and her loving sister, Laura Davidian.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 12:00 pm at the Tulare Golf Course, 5300 S. Laspina St., Tulare, CA.
