Born on June 8, 1944, to Albert and Mary Nunes, Beverly was a proud third-generation Visalian. She graduated from Redwood High School in 1962 and later attended beauty college.
Beverly was a creative and spirited woman whose interest evolved throughout the years. She enjoyed painting, knitting, collecting dolls, and searching for antiques and unique treasures. She had an appreciation for beautiful things and a talent for discovering special keepsakes that reflected her curiosity, creativity, and love of history. Her collections brought her joy and became a reflection of her unique personality.
Known for her outgoing nature, Beverly never met a stranger. She loved visiting with friends, sharing stories, and engaging in lively conversation. Whether catching up with someone she had known for years or striking up a conversation with a new acquaintance, Beverly’s gift for connecting with others left a lasting impression on those around her.
Beverly shared 57 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Don Baldwin. Together they built a life filled with memories, challenges, adventures, and enduring companionship. She was a loving mother to her four children: Karrie Jones (Robert Jones), Stacie Gabijan (Bobby Gabijan), Laurie Kelchen (Don Kelchen), and Scott Baldwin (Kristina Baldwin). While each relationship was unique, Beverly took pride in watching her children build their own families and lives.
One of her greatest joys was seeing her family grow through the generations. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, with one more great-grandchild expected to join the family soon. Family gatherings, celebrations, and milestones provided opportunities to create memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Nunes and Mary Nunes; her sister, Geraldine Ferguson; her brother, Albert E. Nunes; and her beloved grandson, Easton Baldwin.
Funeral services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, followed by her final resting place. Family and friends are invited to share memories and condolences through Beverly’s online page at Dignitymemorial.com.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and in the lasting impact she made on the lives of those who knew her. She will be forever loved, remembered, and missed.
