September 21, 2023, Billy James Swafford, AKA, Jim, 87, of Visalia, CA. peacefully passed away, with his daughter (Donna Banuelos) at his side. He will be sadly missed and always hold a place in our hearts. He was predeceased by his wife Nora E. Swafford was survived by 8 children, 56 grandchildren, over 85 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren, numerous great great great grandchildren, his brother Don Swafford as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews. Billy was born in Oklahoma, on June 9, 1936 to parents Floyd and Georgia Swafford. Married Nora Swafford on May 25, 1963. They moved to Tulare County in 1976. He worked at Sunkist Packing house in Ivanhoe, CA, before his early retirement.
