

He was born and raised in Visalia and graduated from Redwood High School, Class of 1978. Over the years, he was actively involved in planning class reunions. He enjoyed playing sports, including football, basketball, and baseball.
He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fresno and went on to build a successful career working for E. & J. Gallo Winery in Modesto and Brott Mechanical, Inc.. His projects at Brott Mechanical included the retrofitting of the Friant Dam and work on the Sharpe Army Depot in Lathrop.
Carl enjoyed spending time with friends, especially playing cards, which brought him great joy and connection throughout his life. He also played and dealt cards at the Exeter Eagles Aerie, where he became a highly skilled shuffleboard player.
He will be remembered for his humor, the lasting friendships he built, and his steady presence in the lives of those who knew him.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the Visalia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “RHS Class of 1978” and mailed to 31345 Tower Road, Visalia, CA 93292-9301.
