Carole Paula Stern, 78, passed away on April 28, 2026. Born March 8, 1948, in Tulare, California, Carole was a longtime resident of Visalia, California, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection.

She was cherished for her gentle spirit, her patient presence, and the kind-hearted way she made others feel seen and cared for. Carole was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Paul Avery; her mother, Juanita Bendetta Avery; her grandchild, Preston Tyler; and her brother, Don Avery. She is survived by her husband, Richard Leslie Stern; her daughter, Christie Tyler; her son-in-law, Nick Tyler; and her grandchild, Kaylee Tyler.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, Brooks Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Ave, Visalia, California 93291, on May 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Graveside Service will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Visalia Cemetery District, 1300 West Goshen Ave, Visalia, California 93291.
