Clifton Leroy Davis, 71, formerly of Springville, CA, passed away on Monday, Nov 19, 2012, at Golden Cross Nursing Home. He was born in Tulare, CA on April 7, 1941 to George Lester and Essie Marie Davis.
Cliff was a mechanic and welder by trade and spent 4 years in the Army. He was a fascinating man that learned and mastered anything he attempted and completed projects to perfection. He was a superb artist, photographer, builder, designer, avid reader, and had a multitude of other attributes, including a very adventurous personality, who loved the mountains and outdoors. Most of all, he was remembered as a quiet family man and a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and uncle.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Sheryn; his brother, George; his children, Michele, Lance and Julie; grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Sarah, Stephanie, Jason and Emily; great-grandchildren, Caden, Brody and Brooklyn; niece, Donna and nephews, Robert, Mike and John.
He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him.
A Memorial Service to honor Clifton will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia, on November 29, 2012 at 11:00.
