Danny Brien Laster

Danny was born on July 26, 1952, in Tacoma, Washington. As a young child his family moved to Southern California, where he grew up and met the love of his life, Gail. They were married for 50 years. In 1981 they made Visalia, California their home and built a life together and raised their family.

Danny owned and operated a successful general contracting business specializing in custom tile work. Later, he joined Gail in their real estate and eviction business, where they worked side by side for many years.

Anyone who knew Danny knew he never met a stranger. He had an easy smile, a quick wit, and a remarkable gift for making everyone feel like a friend. He loved striking up conversations wherever he went and was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, William and Flossie Laster; his brothers, Bill Jr., Paul, Melvin, and Gerald Laster; and his parents-in-law, Grant and Phyllis Jones.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Gail Laster; his children, Brien Laster, Dawn and her husband Jeff Kloos, and Jennifer Laster; his cherished grandchildren, Maddison, Brien, Eli, and Faith; and many extended family members and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Danny’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the friendships he made, and the memories his family will treasure forever.
