Doris Evelyn Enlow-Martin went to meet the Lord on September 10, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born in Eureka, CA on April 17, 1924 to Carl and Rosie Enlow. Doris married the love of her life Wayne Wiley Martin on August 2, 1941. She was always there for her family and friends. Doris was a wonderful homemaker, friend, wife and mother. She was active in the PTA, was a room mother and involved in the American Legion Auxiliary and her church. Doris supported the kids in their sports and activities including their senior trips. As adults we appreciated her sense of humor and her dedication to her family.
Doris is preceded by her husband of over 73 years Wayne Martin, her parents, Carl and Rosie Enlow and brother Oliver Enlow.
Doris leaves to cherish her memory four children, Patricia Nuddleman, Steven Martin, Peggy van den Enden and Gary Martin as well as her brother Hobart; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District.
In lieu of flowers donation may be given in Doris honor to American Diabetes Association.
