

Earl was born in Ooloagh, Oklahoma on January 19, 1921 to Archie and Verdie Woodside. He served during World War II in the United States Army until 1945. Following his discharge, Earl came to California to make his home. He enjoyed CB Radio, Shortwave Radio, computers and gardening. He raised beautiful roses and tomatoes and enjoyed sharing them with family and friends. Earl also enjoyed watching religious programs.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Joey and Monty and his wife Wanda passed away in 2006.
Earl leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, James Woodside of Oak Hills, CA, Earl J. Woodside of Hesperia, CA and Earl A. Woodside, Jr. of Illinois; two daughters, Rhonda Woodside and Dolores Sanders, both of Visalia, CA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 5 – 8 p.m. and Friday, August 15, 2014 from 10 – 12 Noon at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
