Frank Bosman was born to Klaas & Annachien Bosman on September 24, 1932 in Middlestum, Groningen, The Netherlands. His family immigrated to the United States after World War II and settled in Jamestown, Michigan. At age 19, Frank was drafted into the military, and he joined the Marines. While based in Camp Pendleton, California, Frank met his bride Nellie Dragt who was also an immigrant from Holland. Frank was sent to fight in the Korean War. He was injured while fighting and received the Purple Heart. He returned to California to marry his bride. After, they went into the diary business with dairies in Escondido, Ontario, Visalia and most recently Tipton. Frank leaves behind four children: Clarence and Audrey Bosman, Jeanette & Gerald Van Bockel, Gerrit Bosman and Anita & Joost Verduyn, all in Tulare County. He has thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Henry Bosman & Alfred Bosman.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the doctors and nurses of Quail Park who provided exceptional care for Mr. Bosman during his illness.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 12:30 - 1 p.m. at Trinity United Reformed Church of Visalia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Reformed Church. Burial will follow at the Visalia District Cemetery.
