Delton was born to G.B. and Eva Jameson in 1941 when they moved from Taft to Visalia. He attended Union School and graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1959. He attended COS where he continued his love for the game of baseball playing outfield. He married his high school sweetheart Phyllis in September of 1960, and they welcomed three children. He spent most of his life in agriculture, farming a variety of crops and hauling hay. He spent his last few years before retirement as a Teamster driving truck at the RMC Lonestar rock plant.
He continued his love of baseball by coaching many teams in both little league and colt league in Farmersville and Exeter. He enjoyed camping, and being outdoors, but his favorite thing was joking and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandkids. He was known for always having a cowboy hat, cigar in his mouth and a laugh you could hear a mile away. He was a beloved husband, father, papa and uncle, and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
