Gillham Lee Holman was born on January 26, 1913 in Fletcher, Oklahoma. He passed away on November 28, 2010 in Visalia, CA at the age of 97 years. Gillham married Ruby Gant on May 11, 1936 in Caruthersville, AR and the couple celebrated their 74th anniversary in May of this year. Gillham worked as a Custodian for many years with the Kern County School District.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, Visalia; children, Joyce Amelia Holman-Banks & husband, Bob, Clovis, CA; Cecil Allen Holman & wife, Janice, Lake Tahoe, CA; Dwayne Ellis Holman & wife, Kathy, Palm Desert, CA; Victoria Ellen Holman, Visalia; Camilla Ann Holman-Tyree & husband, Victor, Nampa, ID; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services are being held on Thursday, December 2, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the Visalia Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Albert Padilla officiating.
