Jesus was the 10th child born to Felipe and Martiana Holguin in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was a toddler when his father past away. Jesus went to school and worked in the family’s ranch. He was always a helping hand to his sisters and two brothers. At seventeen his mother moved the family to Visalia, California.
Later in life, Jesus met the love of his life Micaela Gonzalez and they were married on July 20, 1949. They had five children, Ruben (Jackie) Holguin, Abel Holguin, Marcos (Rachel) Holguin, Delia (Jesse) Ahumada and David (Marie) Holguin. Jesus was a carpenter for 30 years. After his retirement, Jesus and Micaela traveled to his hometown but most of all; he loved being a grandpa. The most exciting part of his life was spending "funtime" with his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sharing time with the family, in family birthday and gatherings. He loved attending Car shows and having a beer or two with his sons. Jesus spent a lot of time of togetherness with his son Ruben to body shops, pin stripping cars and trucks around the valley, and making lots of friends.
Jesus will be greatly missed by his family and numerous nieces and nephews. Jesus is preceded in death by wife of forty-nine years, Micaela, sons Abel and Marcos Holguin and also daughter in law, Marie Holguin.
