

John (Jack) Staton Robinson, 74, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Visalia, CA. He was born on August 1, 1937, in Los Angeles, CA to Jack Robinson and Velma Staton Robinson. Jack graduated from Paramount High School in 1956 and received a degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Jack grew up in Paramount, CA until his father retired. The family then moved to Three Rivers, CA where they enjoyed many wonderful years and made warm, lasting friendships.
Jack will always be remembered for his intelligence, his interest in many subjects, and his sense of humor. Although he faced many physical challenges in his life he remained a positive influence on his family and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Velma Robinson. He is survived by his cousins Carol & Micheal Brown, Don & Cynthia Cargille, Doug & Karen Cargille, and Susan Cargille. He also leaves behind many very close, life-long friends including Pepper & Holly Reese & family, Tamie Kamiyama, Richard & Alice Zamboni & family, Martin & Glenda LeMasters, Bill & Holly Cain, and Frank & Virginia Andrus. The family would also like to extend a thank you to all the staff at Westgate Gardens Care Center and a special thank you to Ginny Burr & family for providing Jack with the gift of friendship while he lived at Westgate Gardens.
Arrangements have been made by Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia, CA. A memorial service for Jack will be held at the Miller Memorial Chapel on Tuesday May 8, 2012, at 10:00a.m. He will be laid to rest with his parents at the Three Rivers Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
